Brass Construction was a Brooklyn-based funk group signed in 1975 by Sid Maurer and Fred Frank, a former Epic Records promoter. The following year the group released "Movin" which claimed a #14 spot on Billboard Hot 100.That very same year Randy Muller (keyboard & vocals) left the group to join another Brooklyn group,Skyy, were he enjoyed great success.
