Named after a jazz saxophonist, Rahsaan began his career as the character "The Kid" on 80´s tv-show Kids Incorporated. After that he became an backup vocalist for his co-star Martika and featured as a songwriter for Brandy and Tevin Campbell. In 1997 Rahsaan signed with MCA Records and released his firs album that same year.
